Trauma-Informed Care

Charlotte Family Housing is a trauma-informed care agency which employs nationally recognized practices to help families heal from the trauma of poverty and homelessness. Trauma impacts how families access and respond to services, and as a result they need specific, tailored interventions. We require that our staff obtain training and continually reference resources to ensure staff and volunteers interact with a trauma-informed perspective.
